Lmao! Thanks guys!

I recorded the kill shot with my phone. Decent footage. I'll upload at the house with wifi. Pig loaded. Headed to the DDR.

Here's a little video I slapped together. Pretty impressed with the Trypan. Pig was slightly quartering to, so I put my pin on the point of her shoulder. Hell of a blood trail. Pig recovered in 40 yards.

Well done young man!

I missed most of the evening because tapatalk 4 signed me out this evening. And I can't remember the password to get back in. Been signed in ever since I got the phone back in 2012. And don't do no other social media. Been going round and round with it with alias's and pass words. It even created a new TG01 account smh? And since I can't get signed back in, I can't watch this thread that I had saved to favorites while away from the house. Stupid cell phone stuff! Maybe I should go back to a landline and dial-up? GOF

Nice job Skinny. Impressive performance from that BH as well.

I had a good night for killing but I screwed up and didn't hit record. It would have been great footage. Shot the first sow at ten yards and had one of her piglets at about two yards at the time. She went about twenty yards and kicked over. They kept coming and I shot the second sow at about 6 yards. She went 40 and flipped over. Shot the third one after dark. And he went 70 yards.
That makes 42 killed hogs for the year. This time last year I was only at 30.

Thanks! I had pretty much given up on the filming aspect tonight but then I noticed a little spot on my window ledge where I could prop my phone up and record. Unfortunately I had to have my phone in portrait mode instead of sideways landscape mode to get the footage. It turned out pretty good. I'll get a spot to mount my Canon in there asap.

Didn't get a complete passthrough but it was close...buried the arrow up to the fletchings anyway. Entry angle could have had something to do with that. More testing needed. Lol.

Head held up great. No bent blades, just one little nick on one blade where it sounded like it hit my feeder leg as she turned. I just got done cleaning my arrow and sharpening the blades.

I was able to get that nick in the blade pretty much sharpened out. It's back in my quiver and will be ready for launch on my next hunt.

Yeah wasn't too bad. Little hail and good rain. All that rain missed us over the weekend so we were due for a little drink.

Where are you located? Any rain last night? That storm had quite a bit of hail in it according to reports from a few buddies north and south of me. Obviously that hail core went right to the west of us and/or build up strength as it headed towards Denton.

I'm 3 1/2 miles out of Alvord, toward Forestburg on 1655. We got .33 last night. That's it. The storm skirted us to the north.

Slow mo shows a good example of how a pig will duck, similar to a deer.

Much like this one.

A little early, but I'm in...wind is blowing from feeder to me. Pigs come in from left of the feeder usually.

Feeder is at 25 yards.

Hell all the pigs won't fit in that space between you and the feeder. You better move back.

Change of plans here...decided to get up in my ladder stand...wind was swirling quite a bit where I was setup on the ground there. I'd rather deal with a swirl 16' feet up. Wind is actually not bad up here. Somewhat of a cross wind from right to left.

New view

Thanks. Hope the wind doesn't screw you. I went out at around one to find an arrow from one of the hogs I shot friday. Thankfully I took my bow with me because there were several sows out for a midday snack. I ended up shooting three sows. Bonus middle of the day hunt and I found my arrow. I'll take that kind of luck any day.
