Shotgun sports are a blast. Haven’t shot in years but have been thinking about getting back into it the past few months. Thought about getting the twins in on it but not sure I can afford it. Gear and shells add up quick.

It is addictive. Just took delivery of 4 cases of ammo. Hope to start burning through it soon. I'm still coming to grips with the idea that my score after a round "is what it is." I still want to attain some level of adequacy. "Want to" being the operative phrase. I will say that after cataract surgery i can now see all the targets. Being able to see helps greatly.

My 10yr old joined the local 4H team this November. He's been shooting just over 3 months and is already shooting in the high 70's in American Trap, Sporting Clays, and Skeet. We did the big shoot in San Antonio 2 weeks ago and he had a blast. Shot 77 and 79. I think he is going to be real salty in a few years. Even with the younger kids, if you don't shoot in the upper 90's you aren't even close to being in the running.
