Default Tip overlays disqualify selfbows in tbot?

Almost half way done tillering another Osage selfbow. I wanna put some horn overlays on it but Iím curious, does this disqualify it as a seldbow?

I'm not positive, but 99% sure they are not a problem.

Hereís a rough pic. Got the horn glued on last night and shaped it tonight after huntin. Only cut string groove on one end. Like I said Iím going slow. Probably cut that shed too thick because I had to file off most of the exterior. Oh well, I think it still adds a nice effect to the tip. Also I can cut the grooves deeper without cutting the ring on the back of the bow

Side. Gotta lot of sanding and a little more fine tillering to go.
