This past fall we got an invite to hunt with a fellow TBHr and his daughter between Quanah and Childress. Both girls connected on their first deer ever, which was incredibly special.

The snake chaps stayed on the whole time! Talk about getting your heart rate up.

After the snake left we were sitting there in the blind in the dark when she leaned over and asked if I thought he'd come back....... I was checking the ground with my flashlight every 5 minutes.

Thanks gents. This was a special weekend for sure. I think everyone remembers their first deer fondly. I know I do. Killed mine with my Dad sitting in the tree with me. Glad the Lord blessed us with this memory.
