    Hog fishin

Finally got it done. Hog “fishing “ with a cable snare and a deep sea rod. (Idea courtesy of Sniper hog Lights) we have been trying to do this for months now and at night but just couldn’t make it happen. As we were sitting under the porch trying to stay dry , the camera sent us a pic and it was on!!! Matt grabs the pole and Lloyd grabs the spear (decision made by Rock Paper Scissors) Trey Kuenstler ran the camera and Brandon had the live feed going for us. It was a bit chaotic but a blast. We’ve had such a great weekend here , our boys got some great rams and we speared 3 hogs. Andy was down from New York and got his first ever hog with his bow(ended up with a double). We had a blast and we can’t wait to come back again. Maybe we can bring a few followers along with us next trip.

I guess you snare the pig?
Or is the cable tied to the spear

Pig steps in it and set the “hook”(cable snare) tied to pole

Boy I'd be careful not to snare too big of one.

You’d be surprised how much fight a 25 pound pig put up.

I've heard about a guy in Mexico that does this with Javis, but uses a big treble hook

That might be the most redneckish thing I've ever seen. I'm not saying that's a bad thing though.

I'm impressed!!!!! The pic of fighting the pig on the rod is epic

                            Good job
