Default Sig p238?

Anybody have this pistol for concealed carry. Seriously thinking about buying one after having looked at the ruger LCP, kahr cw9, and walther pps. Really like the concealability of the 380 in the all metal sig platform. Pros and cons?

Yep, bought one a week ago. Two tone with a laser sight, holster and hard case for $499. I also have a P226 in 357 Sig. The 238 fits in my pockets real well. I'm shooting 90 grain Speer gold dot.

Check out the P938. I looked at both and like the 938 more. It is slightly bigger, ambi safety, and is chambered in 9mm.

Out of all the pocket 380s out there the 238 is at the top IMO. It has the best trigger since its a single action. Good sights and a well balanced fit in the hand. Not to mention its a Sig.

I looked at 938 but the 238 seemed quite a bit smaller and I think I would be more apt to carry it everyday.

I love my 238, bought it when it first hit the market. I can shoot almost as good with it as my full sized 1911. I use a crossbread holster for CC.

Got mine at Keith's Hardware in Hewitt. That was the sale price new. I had looked at it earlier and the day before the Connecticut shootings I called and had them put it on hold until I could get up there at Christmas. He said he could have sold 6 of them one day after the shooting. The supplied holster did not appear to accommodate the laser. I have not searched for a cc holster because it fits in my pockets so well. If I get holster it wil be from Comp-tac. I have one for my P226 and I'm sold on them.

My wife loves hers and ive shot it some. Gave shooting lessons to another person with one identical to my wife's, it was very loose rattled and had a malfunction of some sort evry other round. I think it was a fluke cause ive not seen any others feelnor act like this one.

Palmetto State Armory has them for $489.99. I think the only difference is the grips.

I love my P238 in the summer. I can carry it in my front pocket of my shorts with no problem. It is very accurate for such a small pistol.

You got it, saw them while looking for some AR parts and could not figure out why they are so much cheaper than the other 238s

P238 is a great carry gun, but check out the P938, basically it is the same size but in a 9MM. I have both of them, wife carries the .380 and I pack the 9mm. Can't go wrong with either one.

Nice shooting accurate gun. My wife likes it also, easy to rack the slide.

Love the p238. I've had several of the compact .380s and the Sig is by far my favorite. It has real sights, a good trigger, and it's accurate.

Absolutely love it!

But like they've said, look at the 938. I got the 238 for Maddi. I'll be getting the 938 for me.

Exactly what Ike said. I love my wife's gun. I can bounce a beer can at 20 yards until I run out of ammo.

I read in a couple of the reviews that the 938 has a much longer and rougher trigger. Any truth to this? People say they are less accurate with the 938 as well. Wondering if the recoil is that much more. 9 mm sure would be cheaper!

I dont know. I bought the 938 and it shoots great for me. I went with it due to when there is a run on ammo usually I can find 9mm and seems .380 is always sold out. Plus 9 is cheaper.
