First time I see it as well after following the story right after it happened. I’m sure this thread will get whacked soon as well.

Have to agree. At least the chick in the white jeep is hot.

It would be a short story.

Deferred adjudication? So he keeps his nose clean for 2 years and then no record? Can't buy a hunting license during the 2 years? Yep, $53k is a hit, but if I was the judge, probably would have gotten a "no hunting" lifetime sentence too, especially if he is a repeat offender.

By the company that some of the “great hunters” that were on here defending him keep, they are probably doing about the same kind of hunting as he was.

I hadn’t seen it before. Thanks for posting op, glad the state made it hurt a little

Where did the story come from about him having done this before? Sorry if I am dragging up old news.

He probably baited and shot if off a feeder. Seems like the only way people kill deer these days.

You may consider putting the broad brush down that you are painting with concerning those that initially came to his defense.

A man is certainly known according to those in which he keeps company. That said, folks can surprise you with the decisions that they make. I met Travis a few times and had dinner with him and a few other TBHrs at the Mexican place in Whitesboro the night before a hunt at the H. Seemed like a nice guy. I’m not defending him or his actions. People can surprise you.
