What rifle would be good for an all around hunt with all the animals you harvested? 30.06 or larger magnum?

I brought my 7mag. My buddy’s daughter hunted with a 6.5 creedmor and not only did she hammer everything she pointed it at, she never had to have a follow up shot.

How did the Zebra meat taste?

Zebra was the only thing we shot that we didn’t eat. Botha said he would cook it if someone requested it, but he wouldn’t eat it. We all decided that if he wouldn’t eat it, we shouldn’t either lol.

I booked with Acacia Hunting Safaris. The only thing I would change would be finding a nonstop flight to Namibia instead of having a layover in Qatar, but I don’t think they offer nonstops from Texas to Windhoek. Everything about this trip was perfect.

You can nonstop from Atlanta to Johannesburg, and stay the night at the Afton House there. They will pick you up at the airport, feed you supper and breakfast, and take you back to the airport fir your flight to Windhoek.

The thing I did like about our flights was we never had to touch our guns till we got to Windhoek and we flew straight back into Houston so we didn’t have to haul *** through customs to make a connection.
