Deer Hide Shipping Preparation

Merry Christmas everyone! Quick question. I am wanting to send a doe hide off to have tanned at North Texas Tannery. I have read that you can ship the hide there. My question is, how do you go about shipping a hide to ensure it stays good to use? Right now, I have the head and attached cape rolled up in the freezer. I plan on calling and asking them, but wanted to get some opinions here. Thanks!

I was told to freeze it and overnight it ..

Cut the head off. Freeze hide. Put in small srryphome cooler. UPS on Tuesday is what I've always done. I've sent them 20 or so axis hides with zero issues
