Splendora TX - places to eat?

I’m taking the kids to this drive through haunted woods deal tonight and I need a place to take them for dinner. Can any locals help me with a recommendation? Thanks in advance!

Not much of a restaurant town unfortunately. Better off driving back to Humble

Splendora cafe is pretty good.
Coals bbq isn’t very good.

There is a place called Coals in Splendora right down from the haunted woods deal. I’m not sure it’s a kid friendly place though.

I assume you will be coming from Katy via 99. If so there are several places at 99/59 in New Caney.

Otherwise it’s like AC says Kingwood or Humble.

Chachi’s in Kingwood is a good local Mexican food place. It’s down Kingwood drive away from 59 a little ways. There’s plenty of chain Mexican food right on 59.

Monterrey's in Humble or Los Cucos on 59 towards Kingwood

El Ranchero is good right on north park and 59, and you have a chili's and brand new gringos right there to that just opened I believe. Splendora city cafe is not bad either.
