That's all that really matters. And if you like it.

If I got one that bolt would still be headed to Twisted Barrel.

I think that's where I got the knob. Nope, Precision Armament

I wish my 7mm was a 700. Its a 770. I need to spend some time with the trigger because the pull is a little stiff. The action of the bolt isnt the smoothest. Could just be my rifle. Need to get it over the gun shop for some tweaking. But overall, a decent shooting gun.

Middle one is similar to what I done. Knob is a little different

My daughter picked the bottom one PPR. I need to get the extractor changed in her bolt anyway.

For caliber I'd say 6.5 creedmore or .308 they are both long range rounds that you can take deer and elk with. As far as brand that's a whole other thread lol personally I like the savage 10fcp but it's the only long range rifle I've shot so I'm biased. With glass vortex,s higher end stuff is great and leoupold also makes great scopes, however vortex has a no questions asked warranty which is hard to beat.

Guaranteed to shoot less than an inch. In your price range and it comes in the calibers listed above. I am a fan of the 257 but for what you are wanting a heavy 7mm pill would do it all. The RC in the title of these guns mean it is range certified. very nice trigger (the best off the shelf) and they are medium weight and a good stock. If you want to dig deeper in your pocket you can move up to the mark 5.

Glass depends on your pocketbook. again for the bang for the buck look at Vortex...

Why the Creed over a 260 or a 7mm 08???? It's just killing me to know. Both are Ballistically inferior. The creed to the 260 and the 308 to the 7/08. I could go with the 308. But not that new inferior fan boy fad caliber.

My favorite gun in my collection is 270 Saco with a ziess conquest. Saco is my favorite brand but is on the pricey side. same with ziess. however a 270 isn't huge. so I would go with a 300

The CM is nice; however I'm not sold on it

IMO, the 6Dasher is KING of 600/1000 yd shooting

several WR's shot with the Dasher

Rodney Wagner shot a 0.349″ five-shot group at 600 yards.
That smashes the existing 0.699″ IBS Light Gun Record

                              Jim Richards - Ten shots… 1000 yards … 2.6872″.

                              Shawn Broussard - 600 yard F-Open National Record with a 200-22x

If you go that route replace the trigger also.

A timney will run you 115$ and will make a world of difference
