Default Bow Blind Finished Finally

Well I finally finished my bow blind and took it up to the lease last weekend and went back this weekend and set it up. I am very happy with it and will stay alot drier than I did in the ground blinds. I put exactly where my ground blinds have been the last few years because it's so close to season and they are used to something there already. It is in a white oak creek bottom with the creek about 100 yrds from me. I did paint the inside of the blind black and the outside windows black so it would look the same open and closed. I didn't get the outside painted so I made due this year by wrapping it in camo netting I had at camp. Here is the link to the original build.

Good job, you'll sure be glad you built that thing when the weather turns cold and rainy. I built one myself and just got it up in the woods. Will post pictures of mine later. Can't wait to climb in and get all comfortable when it's cold and wet outside.

No windows on the back, just a door. I have had a pop here in this location for 7 years and no shot behind this blind anyways.

I hunted tripods for thirty years. Three years a go I build a box blind. Man I love being out of the weather. Deer don't seem to mind it after they get used to it. I've had them walk within a few feet of the box and lever look up. Mine sits twenty yards from the feeder pen. I wear solid black clothing instead of camo. Works great.
