Electric fence around food plot?

If I put a low electric fence around a food plot to keep cows and hogs out will deer still jump it in?

Single strand yes.

Yes. Cows and hogs will more than likely not respect the hot wire either. Good luck.

I had good luck running hot wire around my hog panels, for cows, perfectly

We used two wires; one 8 to 10" and the other 2 to 2.5ft off the ground used rebar and insulators to hold it; hogs ran into in a couple of times and broke the wire but after that they learn to avoid it. Looked like hand grenades had been tossed on the outside of fence not a root inside the hot wires. Deer came and went

I run a single strand around mine with a solar power fencer from tsc. if you want Hogs out I would go with a 2 strand but hogs are harder to stop if they really want in.
