Hell of a job my friend!
Thank you! I got to spend an entire season in the camp and it was GREAT! All I can ask for and then some! I continue to make improvements. I will post some pictures of the skirting I recently finished. I also made a walk-in cooler...see the thread here:

Thank you MEXICO. The camp is beginning to be like a second home! I am always looking for an excuse to be there even in the off-season!

Here is the Skirting I put up. My fence in town was blown over and I had to replace...so I used the old cedar as the skirting. I added access panels where needed. But it really finished it off well!

That's awesome. I've heard of people repurposing trailers like that. Definitely haven't been able to actually see the build tho. Very cool

Thank you gentlemen! I had a good time building and seeing my vision come to life. The majority of the build was repurposed. The Trailers, the pipe on the structure, the skirting, the fencing, the ceiling in the CookShack, the furniture, the cabinets and appliances...it has almost become a challenge to see what I can build without having to buy materials.

There is always something to do. I have been worried about security at Deer Camp. There are several folks out there with gate codes and the area has had some history of break-in's at other Deer Camps in the Burnet, Llano, San Saba, Mason county areas. Mainly local druggies who look for guns, TVs, and other valuables. Although I am pretty far off the main county road and camo'd pretty well with the drab green color...I have been a little concerned. The sliding glass doors are great but also the most vulnerable area. It would be easy to throw a big rock or hit the glass with a sledge and carry everything out. So to ease my mind...I built these. All I have to do is paint the outside of them to match.

A friend of mine gave me this brand new kegerator! It has a CO2 bottle, regulator and all the tubing. Nice to have out on the deck. People may not be able to get into the place, but they can help themselves to a cold beer!
