I just drove a few of the backroads in case she was wandering around on them but no luck. Let me know if you get a new location or need any help out this way

I’m headed there now. He didn’t find her at the restaurant. She’s 8 months old and friendly. Very unlike her to run off like this. I feel like this is going to have a bad ending.

Man that sucks, as someone who has had my dog at the trainer for 6 months the last time and going back next month for a little while, I wouldn't know how mad I would be. But hopefully yall find the pup and then can figure the rest out later.

Is she chipped? Hopefully someone will see she has an e-collar on and know to contact the vet or shelter to check for a chip.

She’s chipped. We’ve spoken to the animal shelter, sheriff dept, every church and house in the area. Used a scent tracking dog tonight that hit her track but couldn’t go on to a property to continue. She left from the end of CR 209 and was heading in the direction of Serbin. We’ve put flyers out all over the area.

Maybe with tomorrow being Saturday you can get it on some of the radio stations that do local programing.
Maybe try other restaurants.
Good luck!

Haven’t tried the radio, but have it the local restaurants. 1800 flyers have been put out and going in the local paper

Been out there all day. Everyone I talk to in the area knows the situation. There’s one guy who owns an adjacent property won’t let us walk our scent tracking dog on his property. Seems shady. Still looking

Lay something with your sent close to his property line. Have you tried taking a scent dog on the outside of his property all the way around it. Also don't just think she is in the immediate area they will travel for miles

I remember when Harvey went through, a guy from out of town was traveling down 59/69 somewhere around Sugarland and Rosenberg and was in a wreck flipped the dog create out of his truck, do took off running. It took a week and was found a long long ways from where it happened.

No good updates. The facility is Watermark Retrievers in Serbin. Weve made 1800 flyers and the trainer is going to LaGrange tomorrow to put them out. Weve used a police scent tracking dog twice. He hit her scent the first night and followed directly to two properties over that we didn't have consent to go on. Saturday I went to his house and he said I couldn't walk the tracking dog through his property bc it would send his cows into a frenzy. He also said that he had a major problem with any dog coming on to his property so he may have shot her. He did agree to drive me around, but he dictated where we went so IDK what to think of that situation. I don't know what else to do except wait and hope that she shows up somewhere. I've made several friends out of this difficult situation. There are lots of good folks in that area. Any help is still appreciated. The dog hanging out at Los Patronas is not my dog. He's a male.

We walked his perimeter on the second try. Ended up on a dead cow 3 miles away. The only thing I know is that the dog located her scent and went directly to his fence which is where the trainer thought she went, after that I have no clue.

Based on what you’re telling us - uncooperating farmer goon who “may have shot her” is the best lead. If that’s how he said i wonder if he did dispatch her thinking wild dogs and now he’s like oh ****..

Happy to say I can bring closure to this thread! She turned up at a neighboring property Sat night. She’s healthy, still had the collar and 8’ rope tied to it. I got her home at 5am this morning. She’s been in the pool all day! Thanks for all the help and leads I got from you guys.
