More along the lines of snake boots, flashlight and a shovel. Should be able to walk in on him.

I'm with Mary on the flame thrower. I'd also find gasoline or c4 as acceptable weapons.
Honestly I'm surprised you guys in South Texas don't get more of those pictures with the numbers of snakes and near constant food source around the feeders.
