Wanna put a new swing on cooking green beans?

This is very healthy but you will never wanna eat regular green beans again..

-Drain green beans and place in a skillet
-For every can add 2 large tablespoons of butter
    -Salt and pepper to taste
-Sautee over medium high till beans are slightly blackened and crisp
    -ENJOY!!

Let me know how you like them!

My fiance wont let me make regular green beans anymore!!

kinda sounds like how we do em with fresh beans. Sautee em in olive oil till they blister, then turn the heat down and cook em till they're just tender. (I like em a little crisp).

I just tried them with canned grean beans. They are great. Very buttery. I'm gonna try them with frozen beans tonight.

      Thanks for sharing.

Ive never tried them with frozen green beans. Let me know how it goes. You could always use less butter if it was too much for you. We love cooking with butter! Glad you enjoyed!

I hope you meant to say isn't very healthy. With all of that butter you're definitely not qualifying for weight watchers. But I do admit...I prefer to cook mine with plenty of butter and pepper too.

I roast my vegetables and they basically turn out the same. Try your next green beans with about 1/2 tsp thyme in them along with 1 clove sliced garlic..... Just another spin on veggies.

I tried them last night on frozen "Haricot Verts" varierty. They are long and very thin. Not as good as the canned green beans. It dried them out too much since they were so thin.
