Planted this past weekend in time for a rain and finished today in time for rain. We are in southern Oklahoma. Planting 2 varieties of soybeans. The green field has a couple weeds but underneath is a ton of clover and chicory.

            Thank you
I can’t wait to see growth. There is nothing like planting and seeing results. I’ll post progress reports once they start to sprout.
My main clover field was planted 4 years ago in whitetail institute and we have not once over seeded but I can see a few spots where it’s starting to fade so I’ll broadcast some more in this fall. This was a pic this last may. Hopefully it can come up like this again or close

Yes sir, that is good looking clover. Where I am located clover does not grow too good. We only have a few choices of drought resistant plants.
I have to plant in March and hope to catch the rains in March and April . By the time May hits here we already in the 80's and the dry spells start.

What kind of clover is that and when do you plant it?

It is whitetail institute clover and we plant clover oct 1st. It will come a little bit in the fall but once spring comes then it will really come in.

Hoping to plant in next 2-3 days with these rain chances. I’ve got soul moisture.... but we are behind in rain fall for sure

Dang Radar, you sho nuff got a jump on me. Last week my soil temps were still in the 50s. I sprayed my plots though and I'll be breaking ground toward the last of this week.

Yes sir, I should have planted first week of March. We had a couple good rains then. I was afraid of a late frost this year, so I held back.
