The last few days ESPN3 has been showing the exciting, breathtaking sport of curling. I know, I know, I know..... different strokes for different folks and all that. But jeez, how do people get all worked up about this thing? A snail race would be more exciting.

Problem with this would be after a few rounds when they zoom in on the stone coming in i would be sliding by in the background followed by a few beer cans face on the ice passed out.

I enjoy watching it during the Olympics. One of the rinks we played hockey at regularly here in DFW was set up for curling and had a pretty large amount of participants for being in TX. I always wanted to at least try it out but never did.Comment

I do not understand it but my cousin was number 5 in the USA and the top 4 went to the olympics in 2014. She now does it for fun. Last time I spoke to her about it she mentioned they basically have select leagues up north nd kids start as young as 5.Comment
