Just did a pork shoulder in it for about 1.5 hrs. Fall off the bone tender and turned out good!!

Finally talked my wife into trying one of these. Made some bang bang chicken and 6 cups of rice for dinner in a whopping 15 mins. Also tried making a box of Zatarins red beans and rice and sausage for lunch. These things are great!

Instant Pot Bang Bang Chicken comes together in minutes and is so delicious! The classic spicy sauce is perfect on shredded chicken which can be used in rice bowls, salads, wraps, or however you want!

We love ours. Take you a pork tenderloin and put it in. Season and pour 1 can of Dr Pepper in. Cook and it is awesome pulled pork sandwiches

We still use an old pressure cooker we got for a wedding present in 1973.
A Harvest Gold one I might add.

My wife got one & I think she messed up. She cooked a roast on medium for 4 hours. It was tough as heck & could barely cut it with a steak knife!!!
                  What'd she do wrong?

“4 hours”. I don’t think anything takes that long to cook in an Instapot.

But seriously, was she using it as a slow cooker? I used ours to make an awesome roast a few weeks ago. Slow cooker mode for 6 hours was great.

I'm not sure. She said she selected "medium" for a "roast" for "4 hours".
I don't think she knows what she's doing!!!
She said it was too complicated & returned it.
We're used to cooking a roast in a crock pot for 10+ hours.

                          Instapot roast takes 60-70 minutes.

8 boneless pork chops heavily seasoned
                            1/2 cup Stubbs bbq sauce
                            1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
Balance of minimum liquid required is apple juice

20 mins with 10 mins rest before venting. Pretty dang good pulled pork (but not as good as on a smoker...but also only 30 mins vs 14hrs)

We use it at least once a week.
