Yes they are an option, if you don't mind porous border, Sanctuary cities, and bad foreign policy. In my opinion they are the worst of the Libertsrian party.

Libertarians are always weak on foreign policy because they are borderline isolationist (see Ron Paul), but they are normally strong on domestic policy, Johnson Weld not so much.
