Used Electric Range ... Worth It

We've had a used Electric Range at the Cabin for 3 years and it's giving us problems ! Oven works but not the burners. Tested the coils -OK and replaced all the coil recepticles .. still don't work ! Surface light comes on but Don't want to put too much more $ into it .. already @ $60 for the 4 burner recepticles ...

If they all stopped at once you have a broken wire somewhere. Take the back off the console and look closely at all the wiring. All 4 switches did not go out at once.

If you decide to scrap it you can use it for a cooker. Guy I work with wanted one I was throwing away one time to use for a bar-B-Q pit. He said put charcoal in the bottom pan and cook food in oven. I know it redneck but he said it worked great.

Free stoves show up on Craig's list pretty often.
