Vent a Hood thread?????

So Ive been looking for a thread from a few years ago, not sure how many. A fella had built a custom huge steel vent a hood/ range to go over a kitchen island. Im wanting to itch the idea to the misses as were discussing wants and needs for our future home.

Can ANYONE help find this thread or remember who built that particular hood?

Don't know who built that one but Budget Restaurant Supply can do it....located in Houston. Some of the upscale homebuilder magazines have quite a few listed also.

I've installed a lot of hoods over islands before but never built one.

My dad built it...Eddie Flores Welding in Henderson. He built it for Ricky Parker Custom Homes also in Henderson. I'll pm you his phone number, so you can call him. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he says no to another one. He's 68 years old and trying to slow down a bit...I guess he's due.
