Default Antifa being bussed into Austin

LEO friends told me that on Thursday busses of these morons hit up every harbor freight in town and bought up all the crowbars, sledgehammers, and other items to start the riots in Austin tonight. The police department down town is going to be their target. Supposedly they will be setting up road blocks with sniper overwatch to shoot any law enforcement or civilians that try take down, or go around them. Mayor Adler has told APD to stand down and let them do their thing. There are over 200 extra troopers in town right now.

I agree. This is getting out of hand these "peaceful protestors" need to start being shot in large numbers

Highly doubt abbot will do anything. Seems he’s been more catering to the left lately. He caved pretty hard on pushing the mask mandate across the state when the “positive” cases went up. Pretty disappointed in him.

I would hope even as weird as austin is that many business owners would not tolerate vandalism & simply roll over like we've seen in other cities.

City Council, Mayor, and the City Manager probably chipped in and paid for the bus rental and catered some meals.

I hope you’re right but I bet you’re wrong. With LEO being told to stand down a business owners will lock the doors and hope for the best. Truly a terrible thing that is going on and with no end in sight.

Kinda accurate statements from your friend.

City of Austin doesn’t/will not let/want this turn into Portland so there’s a ton of resources being pulled. APD is highly involved as is the governor. Sniper deal is a true statement as is all the stores being sold out of stuff. Gonna be interesting from here on out that’s for sure.

Maybe I'm not understanding but it sounds like all the LEO are to keep us away from the "Peaceful " protest.
If that's the case, everyone bring a few extra clips.

Most of the bars around 6th street have been boarded up since March 17th. I stopped going downtown about 2 weeks after. Nothing but homeless and junkies walking around down there now. Pretty sad to see, but not uncommon for cities with democrat leadership.

If the politicians let this happen, they deserve it all. And if people don't vote them out they do to. Just need to let the citizens take care of it. Problem will be solved permanently.

The state needs to step up and set an example that this kind of shot ain’t welcome here nor will it be tolerated. Turn those busses around and send em down the road.

Abbot brought in the troopers and apparently the NG is on stand by. The cop that told me about this said that APD chief took the info to Adler, was told to stand down, and then they went over his head.

Have DPS waiting on them at the state line and turn their *** around. If the national guard would chop some down and give them some real fear they’d quit.

Honest question but whatever happened to Trump declaring Antifa a terrorist organization? If and when this happens, I’m curious how they would be handled, obviously we wouldn’t allow ISIS to protest or claim ownership of a portion of our cities.

An update - Harbor Freight

I called the HF near downtown Austin.

Harbor Freight Tools, 4001 S Lamar Blvd Ste #3, Austin, TX 78704

1 -They still have crowbars and sledge hammers and such on the shelves.

2 - there was one incident yesterday were an individual was turned away from purchasing such items

3 - there have been a couple calls inquiring about availability of such items

4 - Employees have been instructed to contact a manager if a pending transaction doesn't pass the smell test. The employee I talked to would not confirm if this has happened more than once - see #2

5 - management has some type of rapid policy / process to contact police in regards to above.

please excuse brevity and dictation errors.
