    Ram Species?

Looking for a positive ID on these. I believe they are Dall Rams. If so, how do you you judge their age and or whether to shoot or not.

    Low fence free range.

    thanks!

If you like them shoot them that's how. Wonder how they got in your feed pen.

Looks like Tx Dall. Horns get longer with age and generally turn outward, like the ram on the right in third pic. They can develop a roman nose when they get mature as well. Maybe someone with a little more experience will chime in and give some more pointers.

Look at the rings on the horns. I can't see from the picture, but each ring (annular) is a year of growth.

Texas dahl. Probably 2 years old. I can't believe a cow ran them off. Nothing would ruin the ones i had off The ones i had you could touch them when i fed them.
