I like it a lot! Personally I would orient the flag side to side versus up and down. That art work on the plaque is awesome!! Are you doing regular paint after "burning" the planks??

I would cut the flag into a broad head, shape of Texas or some shape. But agree it looks good.

I thought about that too. For mine where they hung I liked the flat batter but an angle would look good if they were lower on the wall.

Been thinking about making a Texas flag too. I think a guy could go about any direction he wanted to with the concept.
