Yesterday I went to my friends Ranch in Gonzales County. When we drove into the ranch he noticed a bunch of does out in a pasture. We started to glass them and noticed a Mouflon was with them. We jumped out of the truck and he told me to grab my rifle and shoot it. I grabbed the rifle and started sneaking up towards it. I was able to get with in a 120 yards. Then the waiting game started. He was surrounded by deer and there was no shot opportunity. Finally he walked away from the them and turned broadside for me. I was able to get a shot off. This mouflon was first seen on camera three years ago. In the three years we have only three pictures of him. He was also was spotted this year in person for a very brief moment. I would like to thank my very good friend again for allowing me to harvest this animal and hunt on his property.
