Default New to me Nissan Titan XD

I recently became the proud new owner of a 2016 Titan XD with the Cummins Diesel. I have always owned 3/4 ton trucks and I have to say that so far I am very impressed with it. What are some of the accessories that u guys have done to yours. Anyone deleted theirs yet?

I have a 2018 decked out. I love mine as well. Accessories i have the AMP auto running boards which are awesome bc mine is lifted. I also have the tool boxes that go in the bed over the wheel well and they are freaking sweet. They lock and are waterproof. You can fit 4 shotguns in one with all the ammo you need too haha!!!

Here are some pixels... Iíll also add that the fender flairs were prob one of the best additions with oversized tires.

I personally got to sit in this truck and listen to the Cummins run the other day. It sounded sweet and it looks better in person. By far the nicest truck in the parking lot. Congrats buddy.

i haven't looked around too much but its on the list. I would like to get a winch on it one of these days here soon. I'm also looking at a bigger fuel tank as the one in the truck is too small IMO.

I think they do sell the boxes separate and ill say they are worth it. I keep all my tools and straps in them and they stay dry and out of the way.

On my 3rd Titan and my new one is an XD Cumins PRO 4 X. I love it.

I have the Titan boxes too. Buddy of mine bought an XD with cummins Platinum and the Titan boxes came with it but he didn't want them so he gave them to me.

You can buy them through Nissan but I bet they aren't cheap.

Congratulations...hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Copied from nissan website

While even the base V8 engine proves to be strong, some drivers will desire the hardworking diesel engine. Itís tuned to develop a hearty 310 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque. Despite not being a fast truck, then diesel-powered Titan XD is great for heavy lifting. Single cab models can easily tow more than 12,500 pounds. Even when hauling a big load, this truck keeps pulling like a freight train.

Good deal. How do they feel while towing? I have an 8000lb bumper pull. Am curious to see how it does.

My son builds project vehicles for media events for Nissan USA. We have 6 of them, both regular and XD, and love them a lot. My personal one is a silver 2017 Titan.

My 18' XD Cummins handles that weight fine and holds the weight as good as my 13' F250 did. I also have a 25' plus 5' GN that I gross right at the factory tow rating and it does fine. Went to Ks and back with no complaints other than the 26 gallon fuel tank. I have added a 39 gallon gravity feed fuel tank in the bed to solve that problem. I bought a Pedal Commander it helps with pedal lag. I just turn 22k miles, hopefully many more trouble free miles to go.

Tell me more about this! Is this a type of mini programmer of sorts or what? My one issue with the truck is the lag going around a corner and I'm wondering if this may fix that.

It works and takes the lag out. Well worth the money. Very easy plug/play at the pedal. Easy to remove for trips to dealer

So when you say lag does it fix that lag when you go around a corner and you hit that odd zone where you don't really have power right away? If it fixes that ill order one today lol

If your not deleting, then your still operating egr, def, dpf, etc. Many programs out that don't require delete, but I don't see what the point is?
