Building varmint cages

Cage way too small and not secured to feeder tight enough. I put eye bolts in top of legs and then wired from cage to eye bolts. Never had a coon get in in over 30 yrs. Did have to put some new barrels on it, rust.

Self tapping screws with the clips posted above. I can play pics of my setup when I get home. I brought it home to work on.

I built this one using 1”X1” welded wire. It’s 23”X23” and has about an inch from being to the edge of the feeder, so I actually could have went 24” or so. Connected it to the bottom of the feeder using plumbers tape and some self taping screws.
