Default My take on Bownanza 2013

This was my second year to go to Nanza...and all I can say is WOW! The food was out of this world, the bloodys were just as good as one can imagine, and the hospitality was over the top.

I have met a lot of people by doing expresses but Bownanza is a great way to met everybody at once. I haven't had a chance to make it to the pre-party Friday night but I hope to change that next year.

Last year and this year I have been welcomed by complete strangers and left that day with new friends. I always have a list in my mind of who I would like to shake hands and I seem to run out of time and not meet everybody I want to.

It was good to see familiar faces and meet new ones. It seems the first hand I shake every year has been Walkin STX Hank (John). I am glad I got to shake the hand of Fishndadio (Jeff). Mitchbcs (Ronnie) it good to finally put a face to the name and share some stories. Ronnie like I said anytime your dad or grandparents need help let me know. Atfulldraw (Rod) it was good to meet you......again...multiple times

HeyMikey (Mike), hammer63 (Mike), shaft_slinger00 (Justin), bowtech08 (Jerry), Charlie6Delta (Pat), bwssr (Bruce), BTLowry (Brian), pazthru (Richard), Double Rods (Jeff), Blood trail (Leon), Silent Assassin (Phillip), Brazos Hunter (Michael), TripletDad (Carlin), and Cajun Blake it was good to stand around and tell stories with each one of you. (I am sure I am forgot some people).

Micheal, Devin, 150class, 160class, mboltm, TUCO, scotty it was good to meet ya'll.

brianlg31 - I was glad to see Macie there again this year

I guess to sum it up......the people on this site amaze me and it is nice to know that there are this many people in the world that enjoy great fellowship and that care more about one another than themselves.

I am honored and proud to be part of this group or should I say family that we call TBH.

Well said.

we should get together and talk bows sometime over ice tea or other cold beverages. I'm just a few miles North of you.

It's too big to meet everyone but you can certainly feel the sense of community.

And that's what makes it special.

Nope no note pad....it was still fresh on my mind.....but yes I do have a heck of a memory

Plus seeing the same screen names everyday it makes it easier to remember once you meet them in person.
