    San Antonio deer viewing

Gonna be in San Antonio around Lackland Airforce base until Sunday. Was wondering if any of the locals on here could tell me where places are for deer viewing in the evenings. I have seen alot of pics on here before in years past with neighborhoods full of good bucks. Thanks in advance.

Come out to Fair Oaks Ranch (in between the Dominion & Boerne). You should see plenty of Axis and WT.

I live in Hollywood Park and yes there are plenty of big ones around here. Like mentioned above, Hill Country Village has some giants as well. Make sure to also check out McAllister Park just north of the airport.

Hollywood Park and Hill Coutry village off 281

            Fair Oaks up towards Boerne

North and Norwest from the Medical center off Babcock

            McAllister Park

Those should be some of your best bets

You can also go to the Timberwood Park area north of town on 281. Take a left on Overlook Parkway and go back between there and Blanco.

If you to Hollywood park, obey all traffic laws to a T. They love to write outsiders tickets

Hollwood Park and Hill Country Village are great. I lived in Hollywood Park for a long time. Do not go 1mph over the speed limit or be parked on the side of the road with binoculars unless you want to talk with their cops. Each neighborhood has their own police force and town hall. They love giving tickets. Heck I was pulled over for speeding on my bicycle in middle school. My best friend and I used to rattle up bucks in a creek in Hollywood Park and got checked on by the police. They do a good job checking on things, especially people that don't live in the neighborhood.
