You can build a very nice "custom home" on a slab for less than $80 per sq. ft.

Home builders are flat making a killing these days..

BIL has been painting and adding a few things to the outside. Thought I would update with a pic.

I added stairs to the right side off the master bedroom porch and he did all the skirting.

has to be one of my top 5 favorite threads. Jason, you're a skilled craftsman and a very humble person. The world would be a lot better place if there were more like you. Beautiful home, sir. Hope all is well with the family!!

Not yet. I plan to build one last home in the next 5 yrs and will probably purchase the book again around that time. I remember majority of everything from the first build.

Appreciate all the comments.

Havnt thought about this thread in a while until a PM with questions brought it back up. I need to get over and take some more pics of landscape improvements that have been done. I’ll pick a prettier day and sneak over for some pics. They have cleaned up a lot of the brush around the front and added some nice Flower Beds.

F Amazon,
I'm still looking for an "in decent shape" one from E-bay or Half Price Books for under $20 and no luck so far.
