It’s a good thing. Bark louse. Just cieaning the bark of aphids, invasive “bugs” and such. When they’re done they’ll move on.

Bark Lice, they're feeding on the decayed material between the bark fissures. Completely harmless.

How can I get some of that to kill the aphids on my oak? Or just get rid of aphids?

I used liquid seven dust last year and sprayed them.

You can spray it with water and it will go away..

Web-covered tree trunks are the talk of the town on Next Door in the Pearland area.

What’s on my oak tree, will it hurt it, and how to I get rid of it if so?
