Default Garage Flag

Bored with the social distancing so I painted one of the garage walls.

Thanks!
The star was the worst part. The blue panel is 1/3 the width of the flag. The star is 3/4 the width of the blue panel. Draw a circle the width of the star, then draw a vertical and horizontal axis out from the center of the star. I then took a protractor and measured 72° five times around the circle. That will give you the 5 point locations. Takes lots of drawing and cussing! Use a pencil so you can erase when needed.

Only the 2nd time in 24 years we've been able to park a car in the garage. Impressive!

Thanks for the kudos! I have a shop here at the house and it looks like a garage
I got my share of junk believe me! My messy shop drives my dad crazy, that’s part of the fun of it

I really like the idea.
Dumb question: Did you paint the wall all white and paint around the star?
And paint red over the white?

I usually hate painting anything but deer blinds, but
Going to do this in my barn bedroom !
And maybe another different Texas flag in the other.

Thanks

Big, my garage walls were a khaki color to start out. I taped off the top panel and painted the white and I had drawn a 72” circle in the middle of the blue. I painted that circle while I had the roller out from the white panel. Then I re-did the circle and got my points for the star. I taped the star off and painted the blue panel. I removed the tape around the star and touched up where needed. Then taped off the white panel and painted the red.

Outstanding, makes all us Texans proud to look at that. The Lone Star Flag is simple, powerful and the BEST state flag no contest. Even the (distant) second best New Mexico state flag is flown by a state that borders Texas!
