150gr 308 horn interlock load question

Just picked up a box for plinking. I use varget and looking at my book it seems I could just start with my normal load 43.3gr.
Thinking going 2.800 on length. Start there and see I guess. Book says 2.735 but I don't necessarily follow that part.

Anyone got one they like and care to share?

I'm loading them to 2.815 over 42.5 of imr 4895 with respectable accuracy

All the more reason to measure to the lands and seat accordingly instead of just picking a random length to try.

Oh I know what my measurement is. These are quite a bit shorter than my hunting rounds, Barnes, so I'm not loading them as long as those.

Man those are some deer killing machines!! Never loaded them but shot the factory hornady loads.
