    Trouble with colors

Here lately I've had issues with my pictures turning out kind of washed out when shooting in bright light. I adjusted the ISO way down this time around but still don't feel like I'm getting very rich colors(clothes and skin tones in 1st pic). What suggestions do y'all have? I'm still trying to figure out how to work my Canon T2i so any thoughts are appreciated.

1st pic was with ISO at 100
2nd pic was a couple of weeks ago and I'm not sure what the wife had it set on. She tried lots of diferent settings and they were all like this one. Most looked fine on the camera screen, but not so good on the computer screen.

Try a polarizing filter. It will do so pretty amazing things, especially around water.

Also, check your white balance setting

They appear to be over-exposed to me, especially the second one. If shooting with the sun high it can be overpowering.
