Well, ****. That should be enough. I'm hearing stories of guys raising the draw weight, cuz hogs are tough as hell! I haven't dropped one yet, but I'm shooting with 62 lbs. Working towards 80. I want to shoot through fridges, I guess lol!

I prefer to shoot long periods of time, that draw weight would tire me out.

The reason I'm not harvesting pigs, is life keeps being to grown up. I fully admit that I don't get out there enough. Also, my bow is made by Hasbro. Pigs just giggle at the suction cups. It's humiliating.

The arrows are being broke off because you're using the smaller suction cups. To have the arrows stuck better you need to use the larger suction cups.

I shot him running directly at me from 6 steps! He was running the lake edge trying to get away from my other hunters....I was laying prone on a log with my xbow. After I shot him in the chest he swam the sleugh and died about 40 yd after.

Congrats on the boar Chief! Ol boy had some cutters on him and I would shoulder mount him too. Lansford in CP does some great hog mounts...you can do a search on here and see some of his work on hogs.

Oh...you need to quit cheatin and stick with the real bow!

Thats more than likely him. Tracked him 150 yards or so before we lost him and from what chief said he only went another 100 yards or so. ****!! Will try and get out there and get his head. I hate not being able to find it and the meat going to waste.

Any thoughts on why the carcass is not torn to shreds by coyotes? My neighbor runs about 40 cattle. Between coyotes and vultures, stillborn calve carcasses don't last more than 3 days.

Coyotes don't touch them out there for some reason. I imagine is that they are afraid of them and try to avoid them. Chief shot a sow a couple of weeks ago and buzzards didn't even touch her after a week.

I am curious of this as well. I am guessing that the carcass might be covered by bushes. But don't understand why coyotes cannot find it. Maybe the meat inside has been consumed?
Buzzard will tear it if they can find. Years ago, few days after heli shot hogs at Granger, I spooked a flock buzzards in the wood, they were eating the dead hog on the ground.

Do y'all mind telling me what the rabbit and squirrel populations are like at granger? I like traveling to try different areas and was thinking about trying it for small game next year.

I've mainly seen jackrabbits out there, but I've heard that people have had some luck with cotton tails and swamp rabbits.

Saw 65 pigs today. If anybody finds a 100 pound boar floating near sore finger, it belongs to me. I wasn't about to swim for it as chief suggested.

Welcome to the madness Kellwill, don't miss the annual bowhunter migration that is GRXH in a few days. You will see more of the WMA during that hunt than the rest of the year combined!
