One of the largest rubs I have ever found in a Bumelia tree grove.

It was two trees that got rubbed. One was rubbed mostly all the way around. One tree eventually died from the drought several years later. I had never seen Bumelia trees like this. Most of the time they grow in a shrub thicket. These are in the open and in tree form, slightly larger than telephone pole size. We never caught up to the buck that made them, as these were rubbed just after the season. Probably just passing through.
