Anyone listen to this guy's podcast? His shxt is STROOOOOOOOOOONG! So much so that I played the following clips for my kids (ages 7, 9, and 11) last night at dinner. They requested more. I think most of his discussions are over their head but it gives me a reason to listen more so that I can find bits and pieces they can absorb and use.

Yeah I listen to him and Steve Rinella typically. If Jocko doesn't get you pumped, nothing will. I'd love to have a few beers with that dude

I made mine listen to it over the summer

Jocko...eh. The guy is a warrior and his service to country is unquestioned. No issues there. I think his kid's book is fantastic, too. People could learn a lot from him.

I like his interviewing style and I like his 'NO BS' approach to a lot of self discipline issues. That said, I think some people would find him a little...abrasive. I subscribe to his podcast and sometimes find myself rolling my eyes and skipping ahead. We all get it, he's a bad@$$ and he works out a lot. Move on.

Otherwise I think it's a good perspective builder.

You piqued my curiosity enough to watch the vid, but he's too dramatic and too full of himself for me. The message is lost in the delivery.IMHO, of course.

Been listening to him for a few years.

He was a guest on JRE, that's where I first heard of him.

I have listened to his podcast off and on since he started it.
