Well, we finally did it! We now own coastal property to set our rv on. In a couple years we plan to purchase a larger 5th wheel to setup that will become our retirement place.

I am reworking our solar battery bank and inverter because we just don't use it. If you are interested I will sell all 5 batteries with the gel cell trickle charger for $250 and the power inverter with wired remote (turn on/off in the RV) and wire kit for $300. $500 for the package! All was purchased April of this year and put to the test one time. We ran the AC for 30 minutes in a parking lot while eating lunch.

Cool spot and good work. I need to start documenting better.

I spent 5 nights boondocking in Colorado. Pretty cool to be out of a campground. Used all our water and the grey tank was full but worked well all in all.

Let's talk max air fans. I want the auto opening one. So do I wire it into the switch for the cheapo there now and use the remote to control everything?

Will be at Idyll Glen in Lago Vista last weekend of the year. Normally stay with family in Georgetown but will be doing most of the festivities in Lago this year.

We have been in Seadrift for the past week. Made the long drive to see our next rv, a Vilano Van Leigh 369fb. Wow!

Since it looks like it could be a year before we are back in the condo, we bought this little Jayco and set it up in Port A.

Nothing fancy, it's a bed on wheels that we hope to stay a week at a time in for fishing and possibly drag to Idaho next Sept.

AEP came through yesterday and connected our meter pole!!!! We are so thankful to have solar and the Champion 3100 generator but we are also very thankful to be hooked up to shore power! The little things bring such joy

Finally had time to work on the fence post to make a holder for the ol stinky slinky. 8í just barely holds two collapsed rhino hoses, clear connector, 90 degree connector taken apart and my glove rolled up. All in all didnít take long and cost about $40

In the end cap that will open, i epoxied in some 3/4 plywood to attach the hinge and clasp to. I keep extra stuff around, had to try a couple hinges to find the right one. Used a scrap piece of plastic to make a spacer for the hasp.

Had to cancel our reservation in new braunsfels last weekend. Wife and kiddo were sick. Got my tornado tank flush out in yesterday. Still working out the mount for my fence post hose holder. I tend to over complicate or at least overdo things.

We are just starting to downsize in preparation to fill time RV in our retirement. The first chore is to clear out the shop and the first thing I came across I figured I would offer here first, the mattress from our 2017 Rockwood. It is a RV queen that is heated (plugs in with a control like a blanket). We slept on it a couple times and prefer memory foam so it was quickly replaced and placed in storage. We have no need for it so make an offer. Pics to follow tomorrow

On Amazon. A little pricey but one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on.

Ordered ours online too but it was only a couple hundred bucks. Impressed so far but anything is better than the crap they called a mattress that came with ours.

I canít find the info on ours sorry. We read reviews and settled on the one that got mostly good and was rated medium firm. I was concerned when it was rolled up but seems great so far.

Happy New Year and happy RV problems.

Furnace is out. Ran for 24ish hours. Yesterday evening wouldn’t light. 2017 crossroads airexcel dsi. Vents are clear, 13.4 at both batts, full shore power, tanks full and stove burner s work so regulator should be fine. Fan turns on and runs for approximately 30 secs and shuts off. Really don’t here clicking or furnace trying to light. Always was quite quiet but worked.

Stove vent fan doesn’t work anymore, looking into this at the moment.

Stayed at Lago Vista private park, will review later.

Weird but found a loose connection and it fired back up. Turns out there is no way to get the furnace out without major destruction.

Range hood appears to have died. Got a new one on the way.

Over the New Year's weekend we stayed in Lago Vista visiting family. Was going to stay at Idyll Glenn but we were able to use Lago Vista's property owners private park. Older park. Had very few 50 amp spots. My area was dirt and not completely level. Upper sites may have had paving?? Water view and a playground right there was nice. Kinda tricky to get big rigs around. No sewer at sites. Dump station was hard to get in and out for long trailers, maybe a fiver would have done better. Will stay again.

We found some lost footage from our July 4th Palo Duro Canyon trip. They were calling for rain that day so I didnít dare take the dlsr. Instead a small action cam with no built in stability was used. From now on it will be used as a dash cam only. My apologies for the shakiness

So range vents are easy to replace. Got one from Amazon for $60.

On to the next menagerie. Why would the gas water heater and gas furnace not be able to run at same time? Was running gas water heater as I was limited on power in my east texas spot. Kept trying to light the furnace. Even my range burners would only half light while gas water heater was going. Turned the WH to electric and voila, furnace got gas and lit. Maybe a crimped line? Standard 3/8" line I assume.

I would check your regulator. Sounds like it is not allowing enough pressure through to maintain multiple devices
