Longview restraunts

Going to Longview tomorrow and was looking for a good restraunt. Is the catch a good place to eat seafood? Looking for good seafood/Cajun food.

Dudley’s all the way. Some of the best etouffee out there!

Went to Dudley’s the other day I work in longview every day but just never get over there.
I had gumbo and was not at all impressed.

I like Leon’s a lot for lunch they have great ribeyes.

There’s just not really that good of seafood in town in my opinion.

I’ve been to Copeland and it ain’t bad.

Dudleys for cajun/seafood
Duke's Fish House is good too.
El Rincon or T Blanco's for Mexican.
The Butcher Shop for a great burger.

I prefer Dudley’s. Better than most seafood in Dfw area in my opinion

Dudley’s, Duke’s, have heard good things about Cace, which is not surprising considering their roots.

There’s a seafood place in White Oak that my grandparents claim is great.

The Pier is in White Oak. It and the Catch are good if you want fried fish or shrimp. I would go to Dudleys and get the blackened catfish smothered in ettoufee.

Dudley’s is overrated, but this is coming from someone who lived in the Breaux Bridge area for several years. Unfortunately, there really aren’t many outstanding places in Longview....just a bunch of average ones.

Moved away a couple years ago but only place the lines would stack up for Cajun food around those parts was in Big Sandy. Turned into a mad house come Friday and Saturday.

Yep... just like in the song... that is thier claim to fame only place around that makes a crawfish pie
