    Bullet trade??

I've got some .224 50 gr that I want to trade for .224 boat tails

I have the hardest time getting these to load in my 22-250. A guy I know says to put a little vasoline on them and they will stick. Idk. Haven't tried it yet.

    Left to right
Sierra varminter blitz med vel (76), sierra varminter semi point (102), hornady soft point (130)
Edit**- I didn't account for a small baggie I had stashed, so I got 30 more of the hornady

Got 278 I'll trade. i can do a box or all.

Are you having trouble seating them? Or are they not staying seated? Or something else?

Have you chamfered the case mouths? It can really help with flat base bullets. I use one of these: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/46...-to-60-caliber

Hmmm. I wonder if there's a die problem? Can you borrow another set of dies? Only other idea I have is VLD deburr tool https://www.midwayusa.com/product/35...placement-head

I contacted RCBS about it a while ago. Told them my problem and they sent a whole new capping expanding set. A new rod, 2 expander heads and a bunch of de cap pins.

It was a .223 and I asked them if I got the wrong one. RCBS told me that all .22 caliber use that expander. I don't know.
