Using Remington 700 for over years for hunting purpose. I can help you choosing the brst scope for it but the manufacture date?
I've read numerous articles and lessons on Remington 700 but never found something like manufacturing date. Remington Firearms manufactured after 1921 have a code located on the left side of the barrel near the frame that identifies the year and month of manufacture. Is it? |

my Remington book with history of production dates says
