    5 day river trip

Anyone know of a put in, and get out place on a river that will take 4-5 days? We planned a trip to do the devils river in 2 weeks and the river is way down, and will limit us to about 16 miles... All help/ info is greatly appreciated

Brazos from Waco to High Bank can be stretched out to 3-4 days or you can go from Waco to BCS. Paddled most of this. Very nice sand bats for camp and you will not see another person.

This would be a awesome run, we're just looking for a little clearer water

I've caught over 20 that weighed better than 150 pounds.

I have been wanting to do it for some time. The shame of it is I live near by and work in the area. I have been told by several people floating the Pecos that the fishing is way better on the Pecos than it is on the Devil's... They also mentioned it's a lot less walking than on the Devils float...

To the OP, if you decide to float the Pecos, remember to check the weather and Keep an eye out for thunderstorms... Both the Pecos and the Devil's can become extremely dangerous with any significant down pour.

Best of luck on your float, have fun, stay safe and take a lot of pics!!

I want to do the Pecos, as well!

I was supposed to paddle the Buffalo River in Arkansas this month, but that trip got postponed. That would be another good option if you don't do the Pecos.
