Somebody needs to tell that dude quit smacking his gum while talking

Another thing, he and I must have different definitions of creep .... the trigger moved 1/4" when pulling before the firing pin released

Looks like it is a 2 stage trigger with that much creep.

That's funny, it's a two stage trigger. That's the take up in the first stage you are seeing not creep.

I have a Howa & Weatherby with these triggers now kinda different, I have them as light as they will go without modifying not sure if I like the 2 stage part, but they only have one adjustment screw now, You can take the 1st stage out by tightening the trigger screw but you gain pull weight. Not sure if you can do any modifications safely or just changed out the trigger.

Have a Howa trigger that I bought off the net that was cut and polished by a smith. Huge difference. I like a 2 stage. I love the rock rivers. But I'm not sure it's staying. I like all my pulls as close as possible and it's just not. It's a good trigger I like it a lot it's much better than most from the factory but it's in a class buy it's self.

It looks quite a bit like the Marlin trigger in my 917.

I did the ball point pen trick on it.

I'm going to go back and do a little bit of hand polishing on it soon.

What Trigger adjustments can be done
to take out 1st stage slack/creep but keep the light pull.

So I think I'm gonna go with Timney triggers for both.
