Baffin Bay sunrise

Took this pic as my sons and I were about to head out on Baffin this morning. We got really lucky weatherwise both yesterday and today. Wind was 10 or less both days and only started picking up as we left. The topwater bite was hot this morning and we slayed the trout on Spooks and such. What a blast - nothing like fishing with your kids no matter how old they are. I may need to make this a Father’s Day tradition!

Oh, and BTW. If you are looking for an all-inclusive trip I highly recommend Baffin Bay Rod and Gun Club. It is not the least expensive option but it is money well-spent. The accommodations are very nice and the food was awesome. Our guide worked hard to put us on the fish and was very helpful instructing my sons who were new to the salt. Two thumbs up!
