What to do in Sante Fe, NM?

Headed to Sante Fe next week for our 33rd wedding anniversary. Any suggestions what to do for a couple days?

Last time I went there we went to Bandolier National Monument. It is where the cliff dwelling Indians lived.

The down town square has some great stuff
Just off the square is a world famous church you need to see as well.

If you like hiking, check out the Kasha Katuwe Tent Rocks hike. We’ve done it twice now, and it’s really cool. Just go early in the AM before it heats up. If you like Indian (with a dot) food, check out The Paper Dosa. The Pecos Nat’l Monument is pretty impressive, too. Haven’t been to Bandilier, but it’s on our to-do list.

The Santa Fe Plaza is a lot of fun if you're looking to walk around and do some shopping. As mentioned, Loretto Chapel is a must see. The staircase is an engineering marvel.

If you're up for a day trip Taos, and Red River aren't too far away and will have cooler temps. Good trout fishing and hiking in both places. The rivers may be a little low right now, but should still be good with small spinners, or flies. Might also want to try your luck at catching a Northern Pike. I've had good luck in the Rio Grande in the small village of Arroyo Hondo. It's just North of Taos on the way to Red River.

                Have fun on your trip!

X2 on both - the artsy stuff around the square, and wife & I got married at that chapel in 2002.

I think the Indian casino is not too far down outside of town as well.

                  Have fun!
