On Monday my daughter got it done. She's been patient this year and waited on the "right" one to come out. This buck came out at around 60 yards. She had to wait what seemed like forever (really only about 5 minutes but boy it seemed forever) for the deer to get broadside. Once it did it didn't take long for the old trusty 243 to bark. Deer ran about 30 yards and piled up.
This buck makes three years running she's shot a decent buck. I'm super proud of her. She absolutely loves deer hunting.
