Lease with With Wife

Anyone else hunt a lease with just their wife? I do and would not have it any other way. I love my buddies, but could not imagine all the drama it would be hunting with them. I hunted a lease with my BIL and wife’s uncle and her cousin, it the biggest pain in the butt situation I have ever been in. Any my wife loves to hunt and she has no problem with helping clean deer. She’s pretty awesome.

My wife is my hunting partner and my best friend. And I’d love to have a place for just her and I to go enjoy time hunting and take the occasional friend out to hunt. I’ve never understood why some guys use a hunting lease to get away from their wives....

My wife and I had a great lease near cranfills gap. 600 acres to ourselves. Outstanding deer hunting and no drama. Well, landowner drama. We left when he jumped all over me for shooting a coyote.

My wife does not hunt but does enjoy camp probably 1 weekend a year. I would not mind if she decided she wanted to spend more time out there but I also enjoy my trips alone.
