I would say it depends on acreage, only money I know of is in rams. I would think you'd need enough money and land to raise them to trophy size. Less land=more money= less profit
They are a dime a dozen. Takes good genetics and years time get to trophy size , where the the money is. Have you looked at ibex or just get some Barbados and cross them then sell quantity over quality.
The demand is there but there's not a ton of money to be made. You buy a 1 year old ram for $50-$100 then feed and take care of him for 2-4 years and sell him for $500 (if you're lucky). Not much profit for years of feeding and taking care of an animal IMO. Been there done that.
